The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and that relies on everything working well! With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for an individual to join the existing Preventative Maintenance team to service a variety of areas within the resort.

Pay $ 16.00 per hour
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of ageReports to: Chief Engineer, Engineering Department
As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will be performing a variety of routine maintenance tasks to keep a constant track of areas within the resort. You may often be working in guest areas so a professional and thorough work ethic is required. Typical schedule will be MonFri 8:00 4:30, but could include weekends on occasion.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with maintaining hotel guest rooms, meeting space, public / back of house areas, performing minor and routine maintenance activities as assigned on a routine checklist.
- Maintain standards of quality guest service.
- Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards.
- Increase the level of guest satisfaction by delivering an exceptional product through employee development.
- Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
- Assist in logging and tracking all performed maintenance assignments with supervisors.
Personal Skills
- Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Ability to accurately report information.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
- Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
- Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Conducts him\herself, acts, and dresses professionally at all times.
- Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission.
- Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
- Actively listens to others.
- Must have a Missouri Class E drivers license.
- Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
- High school education and relevant training, and experience are preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Minimum lifting/pulling of 50 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, and manual dexterity.
- Hearing, writing, typing.
