Job Overview:
Under the guidance of leadership teams in the Cath Lab Pre-Post, Cardiac Cath Lab, Special Procedures, and Electrophysiology departments, this position provides essential support in patient care and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include assisting with patient transport, procedural room turnover, stocking supplies, handling sterile equipment, clerical tasks, and responding to patient needs.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical patient care role
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring proper stocking of supplies and assisting in procedural room turnover.
- Transport sterile and non-sterile surgical supplies between designated areas.
- Assist with patient preparation, including gowning, procedural site cleansing, and obtaining 12-lead ECGs.
- Respond to patient call lights and communicate relevant information to the supervising RN.
- Support clerical duties, including relief of the unit coordinator when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety procedures.
- Engage with team members in alignment with the TriHealth Way of Serving.
Additional Information:
- Training provided for verbal order processing related to ECG input and sign-off.
- Specialized training in adult patient care.
