This is a 99% travelling role.

Must be comfortable traveling Monday-Friday and live within driving distance to an airport.

Achieves successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of Engineering teams. You will make improvements to training guides and documentation. You will achieve continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. You will represent Honeywell at industry conferences and provide technical presentations.

INNCOM allows properties to reduce their energy spending through our energy management systems as well as provide a unique guest experience through lighting and integration with 3rd party systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and test INNCOM factory built equipment to include thermostats, lighting controls, motion sensors, door switches, control panels and other electronic devices.
• Configure programmable devices using a variety of methods to include front panel buttons, hand-held programming tools, and computer connected programs.
• Install cable runs between in-room electronic devices.
• Install electrical boxes or mounting rings to support INNCOM devices.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of installed devices and systems.
• Provide basic operation and maintenance training to the customer.
• Perform administrative tasks such as submitting Installation Progress Reports, Expense Reports, and Timecards.
• Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
• Must be able to travel extensively - (99%)
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to tolerate workdays of bending, lifting, climbing, and standing while using hand tools and basic twisting or crimping of electrical connectors and terminations.
• Must be able to tolerate working conditions that give rise to temperature variations and dust, such as is found in a new construction building environment.

The annual base salary range for this position is $60kmin - $78k mid. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or GED

WE VALUE

• Experience with use of basic construction and electrical trade hand tools and power equipment.
• 6 or more months experience with HVAC, wireless data networks and IT infrastructures gained through either work experience or education
• 6 or more months experience reading wiring diagrams
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, subcontractors and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software package, Word, Excel and email.
