Weekend Security Officer

Location(s): Rochester, NH / Newington, NH

Shift(s): Part-Time Saturday & Sunday, 1st & 3rd shifts available

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Weekend Security Officers. As a trusted member of the Securitas team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients’ premises during weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Patrol assigned sites on foot or by vehicle to ensure security and safety of premises, personnel, and visitors
  • Monitor surveillance equipment and access control systems
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and disturbances in a calm and professional manner
  • Write clear and detailed incident and daily activity reports
  • Enforce rules, regulations, and policies of assigned sites
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and the public
  • Remain alert and observant at all times
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid state-issued security license (or ability to obtain one, depending on state)
  • Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday), including day or overnight shifts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods and perform physical duties as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification (a plus)
  • Familiarity with security systems and procedures
