Job Title: QA/QC Technician II

Job Description

Join our team as a QA/QC Technician II, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. You will be responsible for visually inspecting raw materials, verifying product counts, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect raw materials.
  • Verify product counts utilizing basic math skills.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Monitor and implement GMP / Food Safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Essential Skills

  • Basic math abilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • 1-2 years of QA experience preferred or relevant manufacturing experience required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in food manufacturing/food quality is a huge plus.
  • Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office/Excel.

Work Environment

Our facility is dedicated to cleaning, rinsing, cutting, and distributing various produce. It is a cold and wet environment with temperatures ranging from 34-40 degrees. The floors are constantly wet due to ongoing sanitation and washing processes. The facility uses Chlorine and Citric Acid for cleaning, which results in a strong smell throughout. Please ensure candidates have no allergies to Chlorine.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
