Job Title: TIG Welder
Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our final assembly department
- The role involves primarily horizontal TIG welding, but you will need to weld in multiple positions
- You will oversee and support all TIG welding and final assembly processes
- Additionally, you will use hand tools such as angle grinders and sanders to finish rough edges on newly stamped or formed stainless steel or aluminum parts
- You may also use equipment like tube benders, drill presses, and saws
- Reading and interpreting blueprints for short-run production is essential
Responsibilities
- Perform 95% TIG welding and 5% MIG welding
- Fabricate parts by welding machined and cut-to-size pieces together
- Use hand tools such as angle grinders and sanders to finish rough edges on stainless steel or aluminum
- Operate equipment including tube benders, drill presses, and saws
- Read and interpret blueprints for each job, ensuring client-specific requirements are met
- Collaborate with the Welding Supervisor and Plant Manager on daily job duties and responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality welding and fabrication processes are maintained
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of TIG stainless steel experience (ability to TIG on stainless 14 gauge - very thin)
- Minimum of 3 years reading and interpreting blueprints (ability to read blueprint symbols and tolerances)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently

- Openings on multiple shifts
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
