Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description: Are you ready to elevate your career? Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician and be a key player in ensuring our industrial laundry facility operates seamlessly. You'll be responsible for repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting a variety of industrial equipment, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. Your expertise will help us uphold high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Equipment Performance: Enhance the performance of all production and facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, and production machines.
  • Safety Checks: Conduct daily and weekly safety checks, report unsafe conditions, and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Additional Tasks: Carry out other assigned tasks, ensuring high standards in maintenance and safety.

Essential Skills:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in repairing industrial processing equipment.
  • Safety Procedures: Experience with lock out/tag out procedures.
  • Electromechanical Skills: Electromechanical experience, including PLC and other electrical systems.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and/or walk around for up to 7 hours in an 8-hour shift.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with HVAC, plumbing, boilers, pumps, valves, electrical maintenance, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Maintenance Experience: 3-5 years of experience in building and machine maintenance preferred.
  • Industrial Maintenance: 3 years or more experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification or experience preferred.
  • Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Technical Training: Experience with computer-based training and work orders.
  • Communication: Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Task Management: Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving: Critical thinking and problem analysis skills.

Work Environment:

  • Shift:1 0pm-6am Monday-Friday. Training for 1-2 months from 5pm-2am.
  • Fast-Paced Setting: The environment is extremely fast-paced, featuring automated systems with computer-based training and work orders.
  • Facility: Some areas are open bays, while others are air-conditioned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $53996.00 - $67142.00/yr.
