Telemetry Technicians observe telemetry monitors and work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure consistent patient safety. By reacting to the unique needs of each patient Telemetry Technicians play an important role in HSHS's commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Education
High School Diploma or GED-Required
Experience
1 year Telemetry experience-Preferred
2 years' experience in the medical field-Preferred
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
Certification in cardiac technology by the American Cardiology Association-Preferred
Successfully complete basic EKG training at the first offering and 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire-Required
Certification by the State as Certified Medical Assistant Certified Nurse Assistant Licensed Paramedic Licensed LPN with EKG training or a RN nursing student with EKG training required in WI.
Certification by the State as Certified Medical Assistant Certified Nurse Assistant Licensed Paramedic Licensed LPN with EKG training or a RN nursing student with EKG training preferred in IL.

Pay Range:
$17.00 - $23.80
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
