Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated loader/unloader with forklift experience to join our team on the 1st shift. This role involves helping unload raw steel materials, finished beams, and operating machinery as needed. Training will be provided for the painting portion of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload raw steel materials and finished beams.
  • Operate machinery when necessary.
  • Assist with mild paint preparation work.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with construction equipment.
  • Proficiency in operating a forklift.
  • Ability to load and unload trucks efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Willingness to work in a non-climate controlled environment and outdoors in the sun.

Work Environment

The candidate will work in a non-climate controlled, open bay environment. The role includes loading and unloading equipment, as well as engaging in some mild paint preparation tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daytona Beach, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
