About the Team

The Partnerships and Strategy Management team in Global Payment ensures a secure, professional and efficient overseas payment and financial services solution, helping businesses to unblock payment channels and effectively assisting overseas business and product expansion. This includes tasks such as building general service capabilities, payment instruction orchestration engine, etc.

  • Industry and Strategic Research: Continuously track global trends in payments and financial services (e.g., cross-border payments, digital wallets, lending, insurance); conduct deep-dive competitor and market analysis; assess regulatory frameworks across key markets to identify strategic risks, opportunities, and whitespace for growth.
  • Mid to Long-Term Planning: Support the design of 3–5 year strategic roadmaps for payment and credit product expansion, including market prioritization, user penetration strategies, and building partnerships (e.g., issuers, processors, funding partners, or regulators) to enable scalability and compliance.
  • Business Strategy Support: Partner with international payment and lending business units to identify growth levers across the user, and partner ecosystems. Use strategic frameworks and data-driven insights to shape product rollout, improve monetization (MDR, APR, etc.), and resolve operational or go-to-market challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Strategy Implementation: Lead end-to-end research projects and market studies (e.g., competitor benchmarking, market insights); develop strategic recommendations; and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive effective execution.
  • Performance Management and Strategic Iteration: Support regular business reviews by identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide strategic input to refine business plans and ensure continuous alignment with evolving goals and market conditions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in strategic analysis, business consulting, or investment, preferably within payments, fintech, or internet-based strategy/business analysis.
  • Familiarity with fundamental payment industry business models (acquiring, issuing, pricing structures) and core lending models (profitability models, operational frameworks).
  • Proficiency in strategic analysis tools (market sizing, competitive analysis frameworks).
  • Strong data analysis capabilities and ability to independently complete analytical reports.
  • Excellent cross-departmental communication skills and proficiency in English reading and writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Business, or Finance-related fields.
  • Experience in payments or fintech is highly preferred, including involvement in pricing strategy design, business model development, or licensing processes.
