You will work in a steel distribution center where you will be responsible for shipping and cutting metal coils for customers. You will learn various warehouse operations, including cutting, operating overhead cranes, skid building, packaging, and machine operating/helper tasks. You will operate an overhead crane, sit down industrial forklift, and use saws and cutting mechanisms for coils. Additionally, you will be involved in every aspect of receiving and shipping steel products. Reading work orders, performing housekeeping duties, and maintaining flexibility for all assigned duties are crucial. You will start the day with production goals in mind, focusing on processing, cutting, packaging, quality control, and bundling pieces before shipping.
