Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating, optimizing, and maintaining assigned production equipment. Your role is crucial in meeting and exceeding production standards while ensuring product quality. You will play a key role in minimizing equipment downtime, maintaining accurate equipment logs, and performing preventative maintenance. The position also involves monitoring component inventories, maintaining a neat production environment, and following safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, optimize, and maintain production equipment
• Meet and exceed production standards while maintaining product quality
• Minimize and prevent equipment downtime and sustain budgeted waste levels
• Maintain accurate equipment logs and record downtime and maintenance problems
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Start up equipment and ensure accurate functioning
• Monitor component inventories and safety guards
• Maintain a neat and orderly production environment
• Monitor in-process quality and address issues as needed
• Perform required quality checks and process challenges
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements
• Support upstream and downstream operations
• Perform rework as required
• Work optimally in a team environment

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of mechanical experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $56160.00/yr.
