Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with excellent electrical skills to join our team. This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery within the food industry, specifically focusing on 480V electrical systems, 3-phase systems, and various electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults in machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components such as gears, bearings, and valves.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Install new equipment and ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns using diagnostic tools.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with OSHA regulations.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is set in a manufacturing environment within the food industry. Employees must adhere to safety standards and wear proper PPE. The role requires working the 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with most Saturdays currently required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60500.00 - $66500.00/yr.
