Job Title: Electrical Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Drafter to join our team on a temporary basis for an optimization project lasting approximately 3-6 months. The role involves the design and development of detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings. You will estimate power generation and consumption needs, heat dispersion, and other relevant design calculations. Additionally, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including design specifications and bills of materials.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including design specifications and bills of materials.
  • Apply strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical systems and circuits.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
  • Identify and resolve problems within electrical systems during design or testing.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency with eCAD software, preferably Draftsight.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and circuits.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Creo or another 3D CAD software is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience with electrical modeling/drafting preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree related to electrical design/drafting preferred.

Work Environment

You will spend 90% of your day at a desk, collaborating with a team of about 20 people in a fun and team-oriented environment. The workspace includes three bays for manufacturing and one bay for engineering, fostering a dynamic and supportive work culture. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
