Reporting Coordinator (Temp/on-call) (Limited Term)

This is a temp/on-call limited term position. Candidates will be considered for both in-person/on campus and remote/virtual.

Data informs both strategy and the day-to-day work of the Meruelo Family Center for Career Development (CCD), the University of Notre Dame’s centralized career center serving all undergraduate and most graduate students.

We seek a creative professional with experience publishing Tableau dashboards who can support our data reporting initiatives. As one of 30+ staff in Notre Dame’s centralized career center, the Reporting Coordinator uses Tableau Desktop to maintain dozens of Tableau dashboards by connecting to a variety of data sources, most of which are saved as Google Sheets.

In this role, you will:

  • Update data sources
  • Clean and organize data
  • Ensure existing Tableau dashboards are functioning properly
  • Create ad-hoc dashboards for special projects

Your work will make a difference. Strategic decisions will be made based on the visualizations you update and create. By creating compelling visualizations, you will impact the broader University of Notre Dame community and ultimately help Notre Dame students pursue their aspirations.

Please know the following:

  • This temporary/on-call position is not eligible for University benefits.
  • This is a limited-term position. The anticipated start date for this position is early June 2025 and will continue through November 2025.
  • The anticipated weekly schedule will vary from 5 – 15 hours per week. We will be flexible with scheduling and will work around your other commitments.
  • This position is eligible for remote or hybrid work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 3 years of experience with Tableau
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the following Tableau skills:
    • Creating dashboards using Tableau Desktop
    • Updating existing Tableau workbooks
    • Connecting Google Sheets data into Tableau workbooks
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Collaborative and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively
