As a Security Professional - Utility Patrol in Somerset, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with individuals on site, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual observations according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
