We are currently hiring a Shift leader in Breinigsville, PA

The Shift Leader will be responsible for the overall coaching and development of coworkers for their line team. This coworker will be responsible for developing a self-sufficient team, owning all shift results, and delivering the site's compelling business need (CBN).

What You'll Brew:

  • Responsible for the hiring, onboarding, training, and retaining of engaged & high-performing coworkers.
  • Ensures that direct reports are provided with clear expectations and direction, and are empowered and held accountable to achieve their goals and perform their jobs effectively.
  • Builds a collaborative & results-oriented team by resolving conflicts as they arise, removing roadblocks, inspiring people to action, and helping the team to decide to change and/or make changes.
  • Provides regular and meaningful feedback to coworkers through development, coaching, and comprehensive performance reviews, with a focus on learning, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate passion and enthusiastically support and drive a high-performance team environment through highly motivated, collaborative, and engaged operators and leads.
  • Responsible for delivering all SQDCM (safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale) results for the assigned line/shift.
  • Conduct themselves as servant leaders by spending 70% or more of their time on the packaging floor, building the capability of their team and organization.
  • Leverages key skills of leadership, collaboration, and communication to enable the team to deliver results and build team capability
  • Serve as the primary contact for the team (line/shift)
  • Direct the Packaging Operators to perform required tasks to ensure quality product production through proper sanitation, processing, and packaging procedures
  • May be required to perform the functions of a Packaging Operator as needed/allowed
  • Drive improved operator skills through mastering, teaching, and coaching the skills of Unrivalled Performance. This includes, Clean-Inspect-Lubrication (CIL), Centerline, Defect Handling, Rapid Changeover, and other daily management tasks.
  • Lead the onboarding of new operators and participate in operator succession planning
  • Effectively lead daily pre-shift meetings, convey high-level information, and direct the line through safety, quality, brewing, and material concerns, developments, or obstacles

What ingredients will You Bring?

  • 2+ years in a process engineer role; or Minimum of 2+ years of proven leadership and supervisory skills/experience; or
  • 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing/CPG environment or engineering (mechanical or electrical)
  • In-depth understanding and track record of delivering operational processes that drive safety, quality, and cost improvements
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Process Improvement, and Process Control
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

Level 7

According to pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role, if hired, is $65,000 – $105,000 annually* based on location** and the candidate's experience level of the candidate. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, based on both individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for a car allowance.
