Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role involves a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks, including managing schedules, handling correspondence, organizing files, and supporting team members with various projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in using office software to streamline daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a MINIMUM of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.

What you’ll be doing as an Administrative Assistant

  • Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel requirements.
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital files and records,
  • Prepare reports, memos, invoices, letters, and other documents
  • Support bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks.
  • Assist in creating presentations, spreadsheets, and data entry projects.
  • Maintain office supplies and order inventory as needed
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments.
  • Handled confidential information with discretion.

What you’ll need to succeed as an Administrative Assistant

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Required)
  • Google Workspace (Required)
  • QuickBooks (Preferred)
  • CRM Systems (Preferred)

Additional information for the Administrative Assistant

  • Pay: $18-$20/hr. *Pay based on experience
  • Full-time: Monday-Friday; 8am – 5pm
  • Warren, Michigan
