Starting Pay: $21.03/hr, with increases after 60 days

Primary Duties of the Production Worker position include safely performing a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing of corrugated boxes, conducting quality checks, material set-up, machine set-up and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safely operating a variety of manufacturing equipment, following specific directions, and performing duties as assigned.
- Performing complete make-ready and shutdown.
- Understanding and verification of Quality Inspection Criteria
- Product Identification and Labeling
- Maintaining Waste and Efficiency standards
- Performing inspections on various equipment for proper operation and reporting questionable conditions.
- Performing various housekeeping, cleaning, and organizing functions with minimal supervision to ensure areas are clean and free from debris.
What you need to succeed:
- General mechanical aptitude & trouble shooting skills.
- Be self-starting/self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately and on time.
- Good communication skills including the ability to interact with other levels of management and staff.
- Be safety conscious, follow directions, and work safely around moving machinery.
- Industrial manufacturing experience is preferred.
Requirements:
- Complete a Drug Screen, Physical, and background check.
- Provide proof of 18 years of age or older.
- Must be available to work ANY shift and Overtime as needed, up to 12 hours a day, and some Saturdays.
- Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16" measurement, do basic math, and some computer skills.
- Ability to work safely, comply with all safety rules, lift, push or pull up to 50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.
- HS diploma or GED required.
- Be safety conscious, follow directions, and work safely around moving machinery.
Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
