An exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician is now available. As a member of our dedicated Retail Pharmacy team, you will be responsible for assisting Pharmacists in preparing and distributing medication, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. With on the job training, this is an excellent opportunity for a student to build their resume with professional healthcare experience.

Required Skills:

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) license in the state of Michigan

OR required to earn permanent Michigan Pharmacy Technician license within 1 year

On the job training and education to help with license requirement available

PTCB Exam date must be determined and scheduled within 6 months of hire date

Annual influenza vaccination or declination required
