Position Summary: Apply technical knowledge and skills to improve procedures and processes with little supervision. Statistically analyze processes related to technical area and communicate evaluations, ideas, and recommendations to supervisors to aide in the continuous improvement cycle.

Position Duties: -Use basic science and mathematical methodology or experience to develop new design rules, develop new procedures, utilize specialized design techniques, develop new processes, and evaluate deviations from procedures through the use of information from experimentation, published research, customer specifications, government requirements, due care, warranty, corporate needs, training and market input

  • Systematically deconstruct problems with engineering rigor using structured problem-solving approaches and quantitative analysis
  • Research, design, evaluate, implement, operate, or maintain engineering products, equipment, systems, or processes to meet requirements
  • Confer with Engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information
  • Analyze and summarize situations for presentations, write internal technical reports, develop procedures, develop design rules, publish internal publications

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is required. A minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.
