We are looking for a skilled Welder to place piece parts on assemblies in fixtures, on tables, or devices to perform the welding process. The primary focus will be on MIG welding, with occasional use of TIG or stick welding for steel assemblies, and operating a cutting torch. The Welder will be responsible for ensuring high-quality job functions, remaining alert for any unsatisfactory equipment parts, and notifying supervision of all quality defects. Additionally, the Welder will record and report work order information and production times as required, and maintain a clean and orderly working area at all times.

This position is part of the welding and fabrication team in a clean and organized environment. Shifts are Monday to Friday, with the 1st shift running from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (potentially starting at 5:00 AM if needed), and the 2nd shift from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM. Welders must wear pants and steel-toed shoes throughout the entire shift and bring their own welding masks. Safety glasses are required when not in the welding hood.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of GRIMES, Iowa.
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
