Job Title: Aerospace Wiring Assembler

Job Description

The Aerospace Wiring Assembler will be responsible for providing timely assembly of wiring harness and coaxial cable builds, ensuring adherence to industry standards. This position requires intimate knowledge of AS50881 Wiring Aerospace Vehicle Standard, IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, and AS9100 Aerospace Quality Standard processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble wiring harnesses and coaxial cable builds according to industry standards.
  • Ensure all assemblies meet AS50881, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and AS9100 standards.
  • Utilize military specified tools and componentry as required.
  • Interpret aerospace and military grade technical drawings and specifications.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in aerospace/aviation wire harness and cable build in a manufacturing environment.
  • High understanding of wire harness assembly as controlled by AS50881 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
  • Solid understanding of tools specified in MIL-DTL- used for crimping.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
