In this role, you'll:

In this entry level role, you will have the opportunity to work on road infrastructure projects that are contributing to making NSW a better place to live, work and visit. You will be in a place where you can develop and grow your project management career.

You will be working in a knowledgeable and diverse project team, reporting to an experienced Project Development Manager. You will support and contribute to the development and delivery of projects in the Western Parkland City Development area.

You will contribute to a range of project tasks including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation, and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.

You will have the opportunity to work with key internal and external stakeholders, showcasing your strong communication, problem solving and time management skills.

This is a fixed term contract until 31/12/2027. You will have the ability to work in a hybrid flexible environment with the office based in Parramatta 2-3 days a week.

About you

  • You will have demonstrated project support skills and experience, including the understanding of project management principles and techniques.
  • Have demonstrated administration experience with the drafting of project plans, procedures, and guidelines for the operation of a business function.
  • Demonstrated skills in supporting the development of infrastructure projects.
  • Proven research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and time management skills.
  • A tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. civil engineering) will be well regarded but is not viewed as essential to your success in this role.
  • You will be a proactive self-starter with strong communication skills. Experience with MS office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel, will be well recognised.
