Automotive Intake & Parts Specialist
Location:

Job Overview:
We are looking for an Intake & Parts Specialist who is energetic, upbeat and has a positive attitude.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Receiving parts for vehicles that are in the process
- Entering parts information into work orders
- Managing in house parts inventory
- Initiating and documenting parts returns
- Initiating and following up on warranty claims with vendors
- Move vehicles from intake spots to stage for the next step in the process
- Perform guest follow up calls
- Shuttle guests
- Various other administrative tasks and light janitorial duties as required
- Potential to move into a Service Writer if desired
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Driving record must be acceptable to our insurance carrier.
- Prior computer and customer service experience required.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs.
- High school education is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a desire and ability to work with the public.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills required.
- Previous experience as a counter person at an auto parts store is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair.
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools.
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday.
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles.
- Efficiently navigate a computer.
