Job Description – Quality Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
• Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Identify test scenarios and develop test cases for functional, regression and user acceptance based on the test scenarios aligned with business requirements.
• Conducts extensive end to end testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.
• Debug logs, recreates error codes, identify edge case scenarios and report bugs.
• Collaboration with developers and business owners while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
• Create and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a QA role for software projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Dashboards for issue tracking in agile sprint management.
• Experience with Xray for test case design, execution, and linking test outcomes to requirements.
• Knowledge of API Testing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and business team members.
• Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and demonstrated professionalism.
• Self-motivated and able to work both in a team and independently.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Highly responsive to requested needs.
• Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion.

Additional information:

• Professional certification is desirable.
