SVP, Data Cloud; Search with Structured & Unstructured data

We are looking for a top tier and innovative product leader with a track record for driving new product innovation, business outcomes - from concept to successful delivery and market leadership.

Our product leaders at Salesforce are natural evangelists and impactful influencers, able to effectively connect with both internal and external executive leadership and cultivate broad C-Level relationships.

In this role, the SVP Product will guide the future of Search and how it runs through our Platform & Data Cloud & Agentforce. Key objectives include the roadmap, planning and execution of widely adopted products. This leader will work in strong cross functional collaboration with our multiple teams in Salesforce across engineering, UX, go-to-market strategy, sales, sales enablement, alliances, and marketing teams. We are seeking a SVP who demonstrates the organization leadership experience, and deep knowledge of the Data & Search space.

The SVP Product will be accountable to deliver products that is built on and with our Platform, AI & Data Cloud that drive Customer 360 & enterprise apps including ACV and pipeline growth. This will include working in tight-knit collaboration with our go-to-market strategy, sales, sales enablement, alliances, and marketing organizations. The focus will include driving success by working with and aligning with senior level customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of product managers through the end to end product life cycle; this includes: market needs, multi-year product vision, strategy and roadmap creation and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to customer enablement and success
  • Cross team, cross function planning, alignment Approach the planning and execution with the power of the Platform, Data Cloud Work closely with multiple
  • Translate customer requirements and use cases into functional designs.
  • Manage a cross functional team including product managers, designers, developers, quality engineers, and technical writers to build new features in an agile development methodology.
  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy & plan in collaboration with: marketing, sales, sales enablement, alliances, sales support and product teams
  • Engage directly with customers during pre-sales and post-sales implementations to ensure the product will help them reach their desired business outcomes
  • Perform the role of champion to promote and evangelize the product and new features with marketing, sales, support, professional services, partners and customers
  • Leverage market analysis, knowledge of competitors, and customer research to define product roadmap and identify more value for our customers
  • Build compelling demos for internal and external use
  • Actively participate in industry events, customer briefings and advisory boards and social media communications
  • Drive and expand Salesforce position with regards to GenAI & Data Cloud and perception in the market
  • Lead entire cross-functional team and represents it to the business
  • Bring value to the customer with competitor and industry insights
  • Accountable to deliver business results
  • Empower the entire product domain against the right priorities
  • Demonstrate a scalable leadership approach to establish teams, system and processes that help the team perform at its best
  • Strong ability to influence to unlock new market opportunities

Qualifications:

  • High energy and passion for the job
  • Product Leadership and People Leadership DNA, proven ability to excite and lead a product team, with experience at product inception through scale-up
  • Equivalent of 15+ years of product management or similar experience
  • Search and Unstructured Data domain experience highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into a concrete multi-year product roadmap
  • People-focused leader with proven track record of building creative, collaborative global teams, develop careers of their employees and link performance to overall business goals
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions
  • Professionalism, dedication and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with SaaS enterprise product management
  • Experience in Service SaaS products
  • Experience building, leading and working with global teams spanning multiple geographies
  • Expertise building industry specific solutions and/or selling industry specific solutions to businesses
  • Experience with scaling in a fast growing market with a lot of potential
  • Ability to deliver results in global, matrixed environments comprised of internal and external collaborators

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $371,000 to $463,000.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
