Responsible for coordinating resources to assist district coordinators with merchandising training, case flow standards, and cutting methods in new andremodel store openings as well as special project stores.
Implement best practices for shelf management, discontinued items and markdown programs.
Provide Meat/Seafood merchandising training to District Coordinators.
Provide feedback to merchandising and coordinators to ensure product mix that meets/exceeds our customers' expectations.
Serve as communication channel to merchandising regarding district and store issues and opportunities.
Provide consistent feedback to Store Management, District Coordinator, and Meat Merchandiser reference observations during store visits, includingstrengths and developmental opportunities of meat/seafood associates.
Continue an aggressive personal development program to broaden the knowledge base and skills necessary to accept greater levels of responsibilitywithin the division.

Qualifications

Perishable department background
Understanding of fresh meat primal and meat cutting skills.
Bachelor's degree
