Position: Machine operator/Flash Cutter machine. Laborer, cut parts
Location: South Holland, IL
Shift days/time: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Job description and qualities:
Working with a flash cutter machine (an oscillating knife is used to cut through materials at different depths)
Putting/Feeding sheets of steel, brass, copper (other materials into a flash cutter machine)
Cut, assemble, bend, punch, saw, and pull metal parts
Load programs to set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of equipment
Runs random checks/testing parts accuracy and will include using simple measurement instruments for quality purposes
Monitor work to ensure that machine is not malfunctioning
May be working with/handling fiber glass (could cause skin to itch)
Will be trained in other areas of the warehouse as assigned
Quick learner
Able to follow directions
Ability to work well with others
Willing to help train others that start after you
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Working near moving mechanical parts. Sound level is typically loud. Exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Able to work in a warehouse with no air, fans are available.
Physical requirements: Standing on your feet, bending, moving.
Dress: Steel toes required.
