- Conduct thorough analysis of current inventory levels, minimum inventory requirements, and customer demands to ensure uninterrupted production and prevent delays due to material shortages.
- Order and schedule appropriate quantities accordingly.
- Coordinate reorders and remakes throughout the day to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Oversee the scheduling of all high-volume orders, including Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) items.
- Participate in daily production meetings to discuss and resolve any scheduling or production issues.
- Contribute to the enhancement of working conditions and operational efficiencies as needed.
- Regularly update planners multiple times each day to reflect current inventory and production status.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience
Preferred
- Office or manufacturing/warehouse experience required, including proficient use of Excel and Excel formulas. • Prior production work in a manufacturing plant is preferred. • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures. • Adaptability to changing deadlines and assignment nature. • Proficiency with MS Office software and a strong desire to become an Office expert. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail ensuring high accuracy in data manipulation. • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking, with the ability to make decisions independently. • Dependable, professional, self-motivated, productive, and organized, with a strong attendance record. • Helpful nature, positive attitude, and good social skills. • Ability to multitask effectively.
