About The Position:
This position will be responsible for the advising, promotion and administration of a portfolio of approved study programs abroad and in the USA. This is expected to include, but not be limited to, the management of assigned study abroad programs in terms of day-to-day administration; providing guidance to students on application procedures; application review and admission notification; and prompt and frequent communication with students, parents, other campus units, and faculty. Working closely with overseas partner institutions; maintaining up-to-date program information; assisting in the coordination of billing and paying providers; and liaising with other campus units which support study away programming is also required. Other duties such as planning and implementing events, assisting the Director in identifying affordable opportunities for study away, serving as the study abroad health and safety coordinator, and monitoring and responding appropriately to study abroad student emergencies is also included. Some evening and weekend work will be required. The Global Education Office (GEO) is home to International Student Services and Study Abroad and Exchanges. We are part of the Enrollment and Student Success division which supports a student’s entire collegiate experience from the point of admission through to graduation.
