Job Description

This position involves operating semiconductor-processing equipment in a cleanroom environment. As a manufacturing operator, you will be responsible for meeting daily production goals in support of cleanroom fabrication operations. Key areas of concentration include photolithography, pattern transfer via etching techniques, substrate cleaning, and metrology.

Responsibilities

• Operate manually- or computer-controlled equipment to meet production and quality goals.
• Set up and operate complex manual and computer-controlled equipment.
• Work constructively with team members to process wafers and optical components.
• Utilize computer software to track operational performance and make minor corrections to improve productivity.
• Follow quality management procedures and identify quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Multitask to perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word computer applications.
• Ability to perform light lifting and carrying duties.
• Capability to sit and/or stand for extended periods (3-5 hours).
• High-school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Microscope experience.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn.
• Manual dexterity and ability to learn complex machinery.
• Previous manufacturing experience in a cleanroom environment is preferred.

Work Environment

Employees work in a cleanroom environment wearing head-to-toe cleanroom 'bunnysuits' and periodically handle chemicals while wearing personal protective equipment. Shifts are 12 hours, from 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am, with a guaranteed 8 hours of overtime pay every other week. Breaks include three 30-minute intervals, with the option to combine for a longer lunch. Facilities include an onsite cafeteria and breakroom.

This is a Contract position based out of Breinigsville, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $24.15/hr.
