Key Responsibilities

  • Works safely and effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrates proper housekeeping and keeps a clean work space
  • Continuously improves processes and procedures in work area
  • Must be able to climb ladders to elevated work areas and to work in enclosed areas
  • Actively trains new team members, and attends meetings and trainings as needed
  • Operates a variety of different hand tools. Some examples include but not limited to: shovel, broom, air hose, various types of brushes, and etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of professional work experience is preferred
  • Willing and able to work a flexible or rotating schedule
  • Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation
  • Able to work in extreme heat/cold, navigate catwalks and ladders
  • Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position including; climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping and bending
  • Ability to communicate effectively and constructively
  • Comprehension of complex work instructions and documentation
  • Ability to read, understand, and calculate basic mathematical equations
  • Must be team oriented and willing and able to learn new jobs and skills

Job Summary: Utility team members will safely and effectively assist in the production of Medium Density Fiberboard and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
