The primary objective of this role is to deliver expert forestry services that support the administration of various programs within the Bureau of Forestry. This position plays a crucial part in achieving the goals outlined in the forest resource management plan for the Moshannon State Forest, with a particular focus on enhancing forest recreation opportunities and managing timber programs effectively. By integrating sustainable practices and promoting responsible use of forest resources, the individual in this role will contribute to the overall health and vitality of the forest ecosystem while ensuring that recreational activities and timber harvesting are balanced and aligned with conservation efforts.
