WORK HOURS: PRN Days; As Needed

RADIOLOGY BREAST CENTER DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

  • The THD Breast Center was the first in North Texas to commercially offer 3D Tomosynthesis imaging.
  • Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 100 patients/day

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED

  • Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required OR
  • Associate degree preferred
  • One Year experience as a clinical mammographer preferred OR
  • Meet the mammography requirements as stated in Federal Register for MQSA in Final Rules, Part 900.12(a)(2). Preferred
  • ARRT—American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography—Upon Hire Required AND
  • ARRT—American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography—Upon Hire Preferred OR
  • ARRT—American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography—within 12 Months Required AND
  • CMRT –Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB—Upon Hire Required AND
  • BCLS—Basic Cardiac Life Support—prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Perform, screening and diagnostic mammography as well and Bone Density
  • Produce quality images in mammography as defined by the American College of Radiology guidelines.
  • Mammography: visual inspections, compression checks
  • Diagnostic Radiology: Visual inspections, Tomo, mammo rooms and apron.
