Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Provide assistance in the implementation of projects and enhancement activities related to onboard operational technologies. Maintain data integrity for industry-specific application systems and enable operational reporting capabilities from these systems for effective cost and process improvement initiatives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the culinary team to manage food & recipe data within the recipe management system and maintain data accuracy from the Point of Sale. Drive ongoing food, beverage and recipe, yield and costing validation.
- Partner with the Food & Beverage team to execute Point of Sale database updates. Prepare and validate weekly updates prior to sending to IT department for implementation onboard the ships. Verify changes and cost initiative changes derived from the business.
- Perform validation testing against data provided by the Data Warehouse. Work with shipboard and shoreside team members to correct any data issues.
- Assist with maintenance and setup of the restaurant reservation and table management system.
- Assist with application enhancement user acceptance testing for point of sale, purchasing system, reservation, and table management system.
- Research and troubleshoot any inaccuracies within the application systems that may impact reports used by the Operations team.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, skills, training and experience.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1-year experience with database management. Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.

- Time management and prioritization skills to execute required database validations and updates in a timely manner.
- Ability to plan and schedule tasks to be completed by others within the organization without compromising the overall project or task schedule.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to effective communicate with team members.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to travel to domestic and international locations approximately 10-20%.
