Job description

The Branch Administrator is the brains of the background operations in the Branch. You will provide support by handling interdepartmental responsibilities such as warranty processing and accounting relaying. The following details are not definitive and subject to change based on organizational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entry of all warranty for parts and equipment.
  • Monitoring the proper operation of the facility.
  • Handle daily accounting duties.
  • Work closely with the warranty department to ensure all claims are to date.
  • Responsible for sending/maintaining all freight claims for inbound damage to the branch

and freight claims resulting from reported customer damage on Direct Order purchases.

  • Work with Accounting to ensure that payment for freight claims is collected and processed to ensure that Unavailable product is closed out.
  • Work with stock adjustments on all items put into Unavailable until items are closed or returned to stock for any reason.
  • Warranty and Vendor Return ship outs including freight preparation (e.g. skidding & banding)
  • Ensure that all hermetic compressor returns are sealed upon return by the customer.
  • Monitor all returns to ensure that the company receives proper payment and items are closed out.

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

  • Strong foundation in digital tools, computer skills, and virtual engagement necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, experience withn technical support, HVAC parts and equipment, and customer service/sales with intermediate MS Office capabilities.
  • Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including problem solving and customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with skills to multi-task on different levels.
  • Excellent customer service mindset with the ability to develop long term relationships.

Qualification

Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, in the HVAC industry

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

HVAC or Parts experience a plus

Must pass a drug test and physical

Schedule

Full Time Monday through Friday

Schedule is based on business needs

Salary Expectations

Starting minimum rate of $20.00 hourly
