Summary

Deublin Company is looking for a Manufacturing Operator to join our team in Waukegan, IL. In this role, you will perform value-added assembly operations on component parts and final products, following standardized procedures and maintaining expected cycle times to ensure efficient, high-quality production. Manufacturing Operator 1 is a non-exempt position with a pay range from $19.49 to $26.36 per hour. Pay will be based on qualifications and experience.

Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Read, comprehend, and execute shop order requirements.
• Follow standardized manufacturing procedures, performing quality checks to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Operate standard hand tools, presses, pneumatic tools, gauges, test equipment, hoists, and other machinery.
• Accurately interpret blueprints to perform job functions.
• Utilize floor terminals for clocking in/out, reviewing work instructions, and accessing drawings.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting standardized work instructions, safety guidelines, and operating and maintenance manuals.
• Strong practical judgment with the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Competent in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Skilled in manual dexterity, with the ability to efficiently produce various products in a work cell environment.
• Effective team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced setting.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
