Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Kuiper Productivity Engineering (KPE) is seeking an exceptional Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) to join our team. This role will be focused on the SAP Infrastructure for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This includes day-to-day management of deliverables, dependencies and schedule, as well as driving complex projects through incremental phases. You will collaborate with Kuiper's leadership team at all levels to establish processes that track our goals, objectives, milestones, progress and risks, and drive organizational alignment on trade-offs and priorities. You will own implementation across the team's projects and services, as well as iterative feature delivery.

This is an on-site role that requires employees to work from the company's office 5 days per week. Remote work is not an option for this position.

Key job responsibilities

Experience in Security or Compliance

Create, optimize, and support cross-functional working groups and projects, fostering collaboration and synergy across departments to enhance security capabilities.

Manage tight deadlines with precision and drive results, exhibiting exceptional attention to detail and ensuring the successful completion of projects and initiatives.

Establish and maintain robust program management processes to track goals, milestones, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with Kuiper's strategic objectives.

Collaborate with Leadership to author Weekly Business Review (WBR), Monthly Business Review (MBR), and other rhythm of business updates.

A day in the life

In this role, you will own implementation across major deliverables for SAP Infrastructure. You will work with customers and stakeholders to define requirements and collaborate with engineers to translate those into project plans. You will balance sprints across new projects, existing services, and operations. This role requires working closely with Kuiper's Enterprise Applications team as both partner and "first and best customer" to continuously improve the SAP service.

About the team

Kuiper Security and Controls Assurance (KSCA) team drives information security activities and controls closer to the builder, business, and production operations teams with Kuiper. We are a team of builders and security engineers that develop a variety of products and mechanisms that proactively raise the security bar.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in Security or Compliance
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience -
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
  • Experience working with customers and stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
