Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the Associate Athletic Director of Health, Wellness and Sport Performance, Head Team Physician and Head Athletic Trainer, the Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for assisting:

  • In the overall care and management of all student-athletes.
  • The primary sport responsibilities are Women’s Soccer and Women’s Golf. Licensure and CEU allotments will be provided.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • 3+ Years collegiate work experience

Qualifications

  • Collegiate work experience
  • Experience with soccer, lacrosse or similar

Certificates/Credentials/Licenses

  • Board of Certification in Athletic Training certification
  • Possess or eligible to possess State of Illinois Athletic Training license
  • CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office
  • Industry-related software
