The candidate will work closely with key stakeholders and development team on systems for Life Admin and Product Launch. As Life Admin System is a critical internal system for supporting operations which covered the CR, NB & UW, PA & Claims modules, high capability to work individually and collaborate with other application teams is required. In addition, the candidate will assist the supervisor to manage each project’s scope and timeline in order to ensure the team's deliverables are up to quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the supervisor to monitor and maintain system stability and provide solution to address the stability problem

  • Align with DevOps and Agile delivery approach, tooling, and practices adoption to provide system enhancements
  • Refactoring and continuous improvements of the code and processes
  • Contributing to the ongoing support of the apps and ecosystem
  • Capable to work individually and collaborate with distributed teams

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
  • 5+ years of IT system development & support experience
  • Experience in Agile principles and processes methods with tools and process, e.g. Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience in using CI/CD tooling including Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Action, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.
  • Knowledge on any of the following programming languages: Java EE, JavaScript, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge on any of database related technologies, e.g. Informix, DB2, MongoDB, Redis, MySql and Hibernate
  • Knowledge on MQ technologies, and using public cloud services, e.g. Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Knowledge on containerization/orchestration, e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
  • Knowledge on DevSecOps scanning tools, e.g. Polaris, Nexus, BurpSuite, AquaSec, etc.
  • Strong sense of responsibility with analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage and prioritize assigned tasks, good team player and can work independently
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken)
