Mission :
The mission of a project manager (PM) is to navigate both traditional project management using the V-cycle (or Waterfall) and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer (RTE). This dual-role PM needs to ensure effective delivery of both types of projects.
In the context of the V-cycle, the project manager’s mission is to ensure that the project is completed within a fixed scope, budget, and timeline.
In the SAFe framework, the project manager takes on the role of a Release Train Engineer, whose mission shifts toward supporting Agile Release Trains (ARTs) with a focus on iterative delivery, collaboration, and facilitating self-organizing teams.
Main activity :
Lead complex internal offer development projects, with a multidisciplinary background & reporting levels within the organization.
As Project manager, accountable for scope, time and delay of the project
As Scrum Master, assists the team in meeting their delivery goals (Coaching).
As RTE’s on facilitation rather than direct control, helping teams remove obstacles, maintain alignment, and deliver iterative releases.
Profile
The candidate has an experience of 10 years of product management, ideally in the high tech/IT environment. Graduated from a business school, he/she has already worked with an international company. He/She could adapt to a new context, to comply with an international business, to work transversally and to be part of a virtual international team.
