About the Role

As a Quality Supervisor at Picoma in Cambridge, OH, you will play a key role in enhancing plant quality assurance processes, driving compliance with ISO 9001 standards, and leading a team focused on maintaining and improving product quality. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about continuous improvement and leadership development.

What You’ll Do

• Implements and audits quality-related activities to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Conducts internal audits and daily inspections to verify adherence to quality procedures and enforce corrective actions.
• Supervises Quality Inspectors and Laboratory activities, ensuring testing accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Manages the gauge calibration program and performs audits to ensure measurement accuracy across the facility.
• Leads investigations into customer complaints, identifies root causes, and implements corrective actions to maintain product quality.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives and coordinates plant trials for new materials, processes, or equipment.
• Trains hourly teammates on quality standards, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates and reports on testing and customer product claims, ensuring quick and effective responses.
• Promotes and enforces health and safety work practices in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Supports special projects and initiatives as directed by the Quality Manager.

Who You Are

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with prior quality auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
• Previous supervisory experience leading quality teams in a manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma required; college degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with ERP and quality management software is a plus.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer interaction.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and report on quality metrics and trends.

Physical Abilities

• Must be able to move throughout a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, and climbing as needed.
• Requires the ability to perform inspections, audits, and quality checks in various plant environments.
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary to support audits, projects, or production schedules.
