Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to work with our client. In this role, you will assist in the care, examination, or treatment of patients under the direction of a physician or nurse. The shift will be approximately Mon-Fri 7am-3pm,- No weekends or Holidays.

Job Duties

• Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Obtain and record patient vitals and lab tests.
• Monitor changes in patient status.
• Prepare examination rooms.
• Clean assigned areas.
• Stock supplies and equipment.
• Perform clerical work as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA directives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months, within the past 2 years of supervised clinical experience.
• Two above average clinical references from supervisory or charge personnel.
• Current BCLS or appropriate Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Current immunizations and statement of health.
