A manufacturing company in East Liverpool is looking for Temporary Production Laborers to join their team.
Summary: To assist in preparing and assembling goods for packaging, assembly and distribution by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):
1. Fold/ roll, pack roll off liners individually, in an efficient and organized manner. Label finished pallet appropriately. Establishes and maintains adequate records to track Liner production and quality.
2. Packages and wraps goods for appropriate shipment daily.
3. Assembles goods into containers, places on pallets and assembles orders according to proper locations.
4. Wraps pallets with plastic wrap and labels accordingly.
5. Operates hand truck, pallet and electric jack as needed.
6. Maintains cleanliness and assures proper functioning of warehouse.
7. Reports any problems or repairs to management as they occur.
8. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
9. Inspects merchandise for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
10. Records all merchandise discrepancies on appropriate paperwork.
11. Fills customer order in accordance with invoice, completes appropriate paperwork, and places a copy with the merchandise for shipment.
12. Follows safety procedures in accordance with approved training and reports any dangerous conditions to management immediately.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills: Oral Communication Skills, Written Communication Skills, Reading Skills, Basic Math Skills, Read Measurements, Organization, Planning, Professionalism, Time Management, Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior experience in inventory preparation, packing, wrapping and loading stretch wrapper, domestic containerized shipments helpful.
Pay Rate: $12/hour (will pay an extra $1/hour attendance bonus weekly)
