POSITION OVERVIEW

The Stranding Operator is responsible for setting up, loading, and operating stranding machines to produce wire rope.

Primary Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates stranding machines
• Uses tools when necessary
• Follows safety rules when handling materials and when loading and unloading reels
• Maintains clean work area

Education Requirements

• High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience Requirements

• No experience required

Licenses and/or Certifications Required

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to input data into computer
