Job Title: Class A or B Driver
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and presentable Class A or B Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for making 5-10 deliveries and a few pickups daily, interacting with customers' shipping and receiving departments, and ensuring smooth and efficient delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and presentable demeanor while interacting with customers' shipping and receiving departments.
- Deliveries and Pickups: Make 5-10 deliveries and a few pickups each day.
- Loading and Unloading: Use a pallet jack to unload deliveries at customers' docks or ground level. If ground level, utilize the lift gate on the truck for delivery.
- Documentation: Obtain customer signatures on packing lists and return them to the warehouse at the end of the day.
- Light Lifting: Perform light lifting as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A or B driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and lift gate.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform light lifting.
Work Environment:
- This position involves driving and interacting with customers at various locations.
- The role requires physical activity, including lifting and operating equipment.
Pay is $28-$30 DOE
