Take direction from electrical and mechanical engineers and the production department for building electromechanical components and systems. Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot and test accordingly. You will solder/rework boards and harnesses/cables, create test harnesses/cables, and assemble test setups with basic input information and guidance. Support engineers in various tasks.
This position is based out of Gastonia, NC, in one of the temporary laboratory pods. The work environment is an R&D type setting for commercial and defense customers, supporting a commercial aerospace project. The team currently consists of 8 engineers and 1 technician, with plans to add more EE Techs to support the increased workload. This business segment designs and manufactures complex motion control components, systems, and subsystems for specialized defense, commercial aerospace, and general industrial applications.
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
