Educational and Experience Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Two years of experience in a related field. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.
Nature & Purpose of Position
Performs moderately complex administrative and supervisory program work to support student success and retention.
Primary Responsibilities
Plans, implements, monitors, and evaluates programs and policies for the Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) community, including compliance with student organization policies, TEC Compliance, and compliance with local, regional, and national chapter/council constitutions, bylaws, rules, and regulations. Prepares program budgets, program development, program facilitation, and assessment. Coordinates community building opportunities and community connections and outreach. Prepares and distributes weekly FSL newsletters. Coordinates president and advisor roundtable. Plans and facilitates semester retreats. Coordinates council recruitment, community service, academic support, risk management training and development, leadership summits, and student leadership programs. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Other Specifications
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws. Ability to supervise business functions. Communicates with other university departments, personnel, and other agencies. Position requires some work during the evening and on weekends as needed for events.
