POSITION TITLE: Product Owner, Digital Experience Platform

DEPARTMENT: Digital Marketing

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, digital marketing, Information Technology or other related discipline required; Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with industry leading digital experience platforms/content management systems required; 5 years of marketing or product/content marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience as product owner or in a similar role in product management with hands on experience managing all stages of the product lifecycle within a digital context required. Previous experience with website analytics programs preferred.
  • Product management experience within financial services preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing campaigns, digital technologies and how to use marketing programs to sell products and enhance brand required; Knowledge of general investment concepts preferred.

MAJOR DUTIES:

The Product Owner, Digital Experience Platform (DXP) will help to implement, manage, maintain and enhance our end-to-end digital experience on a leading DXP and help deliver an industry leading digital experience for our clients. The individual will be responsible for the overall management of our digital platform, including managing the backlog of requests and ensuring successful releases in line with identified target client experience and functional enhancements. The candidate will be expected to become an expert in our digital platforms and help to ensure our digital presence remains industry leading.

  • Oversee the overall management of our digital experiences and maintain our overall vision / roadmap for the DXP.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance our digital capabilities.
  • Capture requirements, prioritize them and help plan releases and upgrades.
  • Continually refine the requirements backlog.
  • Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria for successful iteration and development of the platform in line with internal and external client requirements.
  • Ensure smooth integrations between/among DXP and other systems.
  • Engage with the DXP vendor to identify enhancement opportunities leveraging the vendor products.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve overall usability.
  • Follow progress of work and address production issues as needed.
  • Keep track of industry trends and digital experience best practice.
  • Continually refine the platform based on results and client feedback.
  • Monitor the delivery of new requirements and ensure they are delivered to a high standard.
  • Develop and maintain the sprint / release plan.

HOURS/LOCATION:

  • 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (overtime as required)
  • Federated Hermes Tower – Pittsburgh, PA 15222
  • Hybrid Location (office/remote)
